Commemorating the release of the latest Bond flick Skyfall, Omega the watch maker company has released a limited edition Skyfall Omega Seamaster Planet Ocean watch. Omega been associated with the franchise since 1995, in 2002 they started making the limited edition James Bond line of watches.
The movie is set for release in October 2012, Skyfall also marks the third outing of Daniel Craig as the suave spy.In line with its predecessor, the Omega Seamaster, the design is similar, the only difference being that the Planet Ocean watch is more wearable.
It has a 42mm dial with a stainless steel casing.The dial is ceramic matte black and has a checkered dial with a rotating bezel. To make it more apt for diving, it is embezzled with white Super-Luminova that emits blue light to highlight the hours and seconds, with a green light for minutes and the bezel dot. The silver indicies also use Super Luminova to make it easier to read in low light circumstances. It consists of a helium release valve and it water resistant up to 600m.
The Skyfall limited edition watch makes a subdued tribute to Bond – the spy, with just the 7th hour replaced by the 007 logo and is priced at about USD 6,000
