Formula One racing is a sport that is not only associated with speed but also with the oomph, glamour and the style quotient!! The inaugural event of the Indian Formula One at the Buddh International circuit in Greater Noida in 2011 last year was graced by the likes of Shahrukh and Gauri Khan, Arjun Rampal, Susanne Roshan, Preity Zinta, Fardeen Khan, Deepika Padukone and not to mention Sachin Tendulkar who waved off the race with the chequered flag. Hublot the watch makers are the official sponsors for this event and have released the F1 Power King watch series keeping in mind the suave that reckons at all F1 races.


In 2012, only in its 2nd season, the Indian Grand Prix also had plenty of star power from the world of sports and movies on hand with Bollywood stars Sonakshi Sinha, Ajay Devgn and Neha Dhupia at the opening ceremony with performer Shaan singing the national anthem and music director duo Vishal and Shekhar providing the music entertainment. Sebastian Vettel, the reigning winner of Indian Grand Prix in 2011, started as the hot favorite this year too. Vettel and Mark Webber from the Red Bull racing team were at the starting position followed by Hamilton and Button. Gagan Narang, the Olympic gold medalist from India waved the chequered flag, when Vettel went on to win the race for the 2nd year in a row.

 

 

 

 

 

Hublot was the offiial timekeeper for the event and has released the Limited Edition, F1 Power King watch series keeping in mind the suave that reckons at all F1 races. Harbhajan Singh who is the brand ambassador was also present on race day.
